Breaker OS

Security and how records work

Last updated 2026-11-04

A Breaker OS record is a list of events saved in order. Each event is saved together with a fingerprint of the one before it. If anyone changes an earlier event, every later fingerprint stops matching, and the check shows a mismatch.

Shipping and tracking are saved against the cards in each package.

  • Anyone with a break's link can see the record: spots, hits, times and buyer handles. No names, emails or addresses.
  • The seller sees their own shows, money and shipping lists.
  • Buyers see their own hits and their own address only if they choose to give it for shipping.

Their own browser recomputes every fingerprint from the saved data. Nothing is sent to us. A match means nothing changed after the spots were locked.

  • Buyer addresses are encrypted at rest.
  • Sellers only see what they need to ship.
  • Records are append-only. Nothing is updated or deleted in place. A correction is a new event and the original stays visible.
  • Secrets are stored in a secrets vault, never in the code.
  • We never ask for your platform passwords or tokens, and we never scrape.

A record cannot show what happened off camera, and it does not decide a dispute. It shows what was saved and when.
